Alex Gil

Alex Gil, a native of Chula Vista, is a passionate baseball coach dedicated to nurturing the talent and growth of aspiring athletes. Having been born and raised in the area, Alex has a deep-rooted connection to the baseball community and understands the unique challenges and opportunities it presents.

Alex’s own baseball journey took him across borders, with the privilege of playing on both sides of the border from an early age. He had the opportunity to showcase his skills in Chihuahua, Mexico, as part of the Liga Norte de Mexico, honing his abilities in competitive environments. Further advancing his career, Alex continued his playing days at San Diego State University.

Building upon his experiences as a player, Alex Gil transitioned into coaching to share his knowledge and passion for the game with others. His coaching resume includes positions at Southwest High School and with the highly regarded Grind travel ball team.
